In 1886, Mr. Herman Webster left his wife and child to escape in a charge of defrauding, poisoning, and committing murder, heading to settle down in Illinois State, Chicago, U.S.A.
He then changed his new name as “HH Holmes to start his new life but not to stop his killing a series of innocent people.
HH Holmes’ settling down in Illinois, U.S.A is the genesis of “The Murder Castle” in which over two hundred innocent persons had been cruelly killed a few centuries ago.
(H.H. Holmes)
Concerning his background, Mr. Holmes graduated from medical school in University of Michigan at the department of Medicine and Surgery.
He worked so obsessively in the laboratory that Mr. Holmes was flagrantly disclosed to have the corpses malignantly arranged and decorated as the victims of accidents so as to claim the compensation from many insurance companies.

This is a root cause of Mr. Holmes fleeing for New York City as his temporary sanctuary.
In this city, someone stated that he saw Mr. Holmes and one little boy walking side by side before both vanishing without trace.
In that incident, Mr. Holmes claimed that little boy went back to live with his family at another state.
However, he was suspected as the cause of disappearance of that boy before he decided to leave for Philadelphia and got a job at one pharmacy.

After continuing his work at this pharmacy for a few days, there was another incident of a boy disappearing without a trace, who earlier came to buy medicine at this pharmacy.
For this reason, Mr. Holmes decided to move to retake up residence at Illinois State, which acts as the beginning of the Murder Castle.

In Chicago, Philadelphia State, Mr. Holmes worked so diligently that he could purchase the pharmacy owned by a mature couple himself.
Nevertheless, it was a rumor that Mr. Holmes murdered these elderly husband and wife before seizing and occupying their pharmacy.
With his assiduous and continuous work, later on, Mr. Holmes was able to buy the land in front of his pharmacy.
Mr. Holmes then began to build two commercial buildings.
At the first floor, he decided building as the drugstore as well as commercial areas for renting out whereas the second floor was designed as rental apartment.
This building malignantly designed by Holmes had become the Murder Castle while many neighbors were unconscious of the wicked repercussion caused by this American serial killer.
His building appeared to have a hundred mysterious rooms;
some rooms had up to five doors, many didn’t have windows, and many doors in this building were coated with interlocking brick whereas many ladders were intentionally blocked.

Finally, this building was changed to become a hotel with such mysterious elements that the newspaper Chicago Tribune discovered that this is a place of evil.
Moreover, this strange hotel of Mr. Holmes was found to have gas pipes for releasing toxic fume to smoke the residents to die owing to the lack of oxygen.
What even makes the newspaper readers petrified is a secret chimney for dropping human bodies to the basement where the acid pons was waiting for incarnating incinerating corpses, aside from the tables for dissection.

When this horrible hotel was finished in building, it coincided with the international fairs in Chicago.
These giant fairs acted as the huge magnetic drawing untold numbers of visitors coming to stay at the hotel of Mr. Holmes.
What even makes the newspaper readers petrified is a secret chimney for dropping human bodies to the basement where the acid pons was waiting for incarnating incinerating corpses, aside from the tables for dissection.
Unfortunately, what was against the flourishing international fairs was a series of dead victims who were mercilessly murdered by Mr. Holmes.
Noticeably, most of them were young women who traveled to Chicago to get jobs whereas many came from advertisements posted by him.
There were also many victims as young women courted and enticed by Mr. Holmes to be his fiancé.
But, all of them, invited, enticed, and lured by Mr. Homes became vanished without any traces forever.

After international fairs at Philadelphia State ended in 1893, Mr. Holmes was burdened with a huge debt due to asking for a loan to build his expensive, eccentric murder hotel.
On this ground, Mr. Homes had to make his decision by fleeing from Philadelphia City together with his right-hand man, Mr. Benjamin Pitezel.
Both of them still conducted wicked businesses by luring lots of people hoping to claim compensation money from insurance companies as his favorites.
At last, Mr. Homes deceived and exploited his right-hand man, Mr. Benjamin by telling his wife that her spouse had to play possum so as to claim compensation from the insurance company.
But, it was Mr. Holmes who received all benefits from the insurance companies in this fake play.

This led to revenge and anger by Benjamin and his wife before this American serial killer murdered his right-hand man with cruelty subsequently.
At last, Mr. Holmes had to appreciate one proverb, “What goes around, comes around”.
He could not escape from the police by being in charge with defrauding money compensation from many insurance companies.
In addition, he was trailed and then found to commit murdering many victims, who were at first claimed to have 27 corpses as falsely confessed by Mr. Holmes.
However, the real analysis revealed that there were more than two hundred corpses murdered by this American serial killer.
"I could not help the fact that I was a murderer, no more than the poet can help the inspiration to sing." - H. H. Holmes
Eventually, Mr. Holmes was sentenced to death by execution in 1896, together with his asking for mercy to bury his body by covered with thick cement to prevent his dead body from being stolen and dissected as he used to cruel treat his hundreds of victims before.
He claimed he could avoid what he was as the serial killer like the poet who cannot stop producing their literary works.
"I was born with the devil in me. I could not help the fact that I was a murderer, no more than the poet can help the inspiration to sing..I was born with the evil one standing as my sponsor beside the bed where I was ushered into the world, and he has been with me since." - H. H. Holmes
